Microsoft has hired more than 4,400 software engineers to work on its next generation of cloud software.
The new hires will work on Azure, Dynamics, and the next generation Cortana.
The company said it would start accepting applications in February.
The job posting also lists a “cloud team” in the future, and says that “some of the new hires are highly skilled and experienced” and that Microsoft is “proud to be able to provide a better working environment for our software engineers.”
Microsoft also said it will invest $4 billion in new technology to help its cloud teams, and it is partnering with companies such as Facebook, Google, and Amazon to bring the new technologies into production.
Microsoft previously said that it will spend $8 billion in the next decade on the cloud.
